We believe independence cannot be forced from day one. Sometimes, what's needed isn't just capital and drive, but also space, time, support, and a humane system so that someone can survive, learn, and finally stand on their own.
That's why Demi Esok isn't here merely to provide capital or open a business. We want to build a path—and walk alongside the first steps until the entrepreneur is ready to walk alone.
Demi Esok, Independent Together.

WHY WE EXIST
Many people have the ability, experience, and desire to be independent, but the path to a business is often blocked by limited capital, skills, access, and the pressure of daily needs.
And when opportunity comes, its shape isn't always fair: burdensome capital, exploitative partnerships, or pragmatic choices that let someone only survive today without ever truly building a tomorrow.
Demi Esok wants to try a different approach. Not merely giving aid, but building opportunity. Not merely opening a business, but building independence.
HOW WE WORK
STABILIZE → BUILD → INDEPENDENT → REGENERATE
Stabilize
Give beneficiaries room to meet their basic needs during the transition period, without having to sacrifice capital and the survival of the business.
Build
Build the business through capital, assets, mentoring, and the access it needs.
Independent
Push the business until the beneficiary can manage and sustain their own livelihood.
Regenerate
Once independent, they have the chance to help others grow and expand the cycle of independence.
OUR PRINCIPLES
Collective Work
A business's success does not stand alone. It is born from many hands, many roles, and many forms of support.
Alternative Capital
Seeking a fairer and more humane way—without interest and without the trap of exploitative partnerships.
Empowerment
The ultimate goal is not merely to open a business, but to create the space for someone to stand on their own two feet.
Regeneration
Demi Esok is not an instant solution. We want to build a system where one person's success becomes an opportunity for the next.
Transparency
Every form of public support must be accountable. That's why program progress and the use of funds are opened up regularly.
